To help spark your creativity and provide support during the development of your projects, we've compiled a collection of guides and learning paths for inspiration. These resources will help you get started building, testing, and deploying AI applications for the Alif E8 platform.

Hackathon Guide
The hackathon branch of the CMSIS-Executorch the recommended starting point for the hackathon. The guide provides documentation and code covering the complete workflow for building, exporting, and running a PyTorch model on the Alif E8 Dev Kit. Use it to set up your development environment, familiarize yourself with the workflow, and get your first model running on the hardware. -
Optimized AI Models
Arm’s AI Portal provides a catalog of ExecuTorch models that you can use as building blocks for your project. A number of these models have already been optimized for the Alif Ensemble E8, giving you a faster path from model selection to running AI on the device. -
Embedded Device Learning Paths
You can learn more about Arm architecture and AI topics through guided learning paths. The Embedded and Microcontroller section covers a variety of embedded AI applications and development workflows.
Get a Head Start with Fixed Virtual PlatformsStart developing before you have access to the physical Alif E8 Dev Kit. Arm Fixed Virtual Platforms (FVPs) provide functionally accurate simulations of Arm-based systems that you can use to begin testing and debugging your application. Use an FVP to familiarize yourself with the ExecuTorch workflow, validate model deployment, and troubleshoot software issues before moving your application to the physical hardware. |
